UAE to cover hotel accommodation and meal expenses of tourists stranded in country due to flight cancellations - The Economic Times

The United Arab Emirates will cover hotel and meal expenses for tourists staying in the country due to widespread flight cancellations caused by the US-Israel escalation of war against Iran. 

The Economic Times reports.

The announcement came after the closure of airspace in the Middle East forced major UAE carriers including Emirates, Etihad Airways, flydubai and Air Arabia to suspend or reduce flights, leaving thousands of travelers unable to depart from Dubai International Airport, Zayed International Airport and Sharjah International Airport.
