Condé Nast Traveler article - about Bakhmaro resort

As part of the international marketing campaign of the National Tourism Administration of Georgia, one of the world's most prestigious and influential travel publications, Condé Nast Traveler, dedicated an extensive article to Georgia.  The article, entitled: "An exclusive winter destination that should be on your radar in 2026" talks about the high mountain resort of Guria, Bakhmaro.

The author of the article describes Bakhmaro as a pristine and mysterious resort that offers special peace and exclusivity to winter adventure lovers.

"In Georgia, the icy beauty and incomparable simplicity of the Bakhmaro resort attracts the attention of curious travelers and directs them away from well-known winter resorts," the publication notes.

In the publication, Georgian winter tourism is presented as a new, eco-friendly and exclusive experience, which is named as one of the most interesting alternative destinations of 2026. The article describes what distinguishes Bach Unlike the classic and overcrowded ski resorts of Arro, it is free from mass tourism, a "slow tourism" concept, without extensive infrastructure and crowds.

Condé Nast Traveler pays special attention to Bakhmaro's model of sustainable tourism, where electric snow machines (Snowcats) are used instead of traditional cable cars. According to the publication: "This innovative approach sets a new standard for winter travel, where tourism works in harmony with natural wonders, not to their detriment."

The article describes Bakhmaro as a destination where travelers can "trace" their own route in an authentic natural environment, against the background of panoramic views of the Black Sea and mountains, and also advises travelers to definitely visit the "Sunset Hill", from where the view of the Black Sea can be seen in clear weather.

"Bakhmaro is not a plan, a template or a standard ski resort. Here the slopes are completely yours. You can make your own unique way&nbs P follow and leave only the footprints of your own adventure on the snow".

Condé Nast Traveler is the travel industry's go-to publication, setting the standard for luxury, authentic and innovative travel for decades. The publication's articles and recommendations capture the attention of millions of high-spending and experience-oriented travelers.

The Condé Nast Traveler published article is aimed mainly at a British audience and includes activities on the publication's social networks (Instagram and Facebook) for four weeks, from February 23 to March 22.  The publication aims to position Georgia as a diverse and unique winter destination.
