Telegram will be completely blocked in Russia from April 1 - Baza

According to Baza, from April 1, the Federal Service for the Supervision of Communications, Information Technologies and Mass Communications of Russia (Roskomnadzor) will completely block Telegram on the territory of Russia.

"According to our sources, from this date, Roskomnadzor will begin to completely block Telegram, like Instagram and Facebook. The measures will be extended to the entire territory of Russia: the application will no longer be loaded either through mobile networks or fixed Internet systems," Baza wrote.

For information, the restriction of access to Telegram started on February 10.  Roskomnadzor claimed that such restrictions were introduced to "fight against criminals".
