Museum of Local Lore of Lanchkhuti

Lanchkhuti Local Lore Museum was founded in 1978 and opened for the first time in 1998. 

The museum is engaged in educational and public activities, which plays an important role in the development of tourism. 

About eight thousand archaeological, numismatic, fine art, ethnographic, natural, historical exhibits are presented in the museum.

Especially noteworthy is the bronze helmet of the 4th century BC. There is also a collection of bronze Colchi axes, ancient ceramics, a bronze cross of the 4th century, a lapidary inscription on a stone of the 11th century, exhibits of the journey of the Gurlian horsemen to America.

In the museum, you will find photos of Noah Jordania, the head of the government of the Democratic Republic of Georgia, and members of the emigrants.
