Hiking trails and new tourist spots

The National Tourism Administration held a media tour for media representatives in Chiatura.

Journalists, bloggers and photographers participated in the tour. Media representatives got acquainted with the municipality's tourist attractions, cultural monuments, trails marked and updated by the National Tourism Administration - including the Katsakhi Svet panoramic route, Navardzeti trail, newly created rock climbing club and other new tourist facilities.

The National Tourism Administration has started marking hiking trails in Chiaturi municipality from 2022 for the purpose of developing adventure tourism. To date, up to 20 km of easy category hiking trails have been marked, which include cultural-historical and natural sights within the municipality.

The trails connect the village of Navardzet and the village of Katsakhi, the panoramic and circular trail of the Katsakhi pillar.

The National Tourism Administration continues to mark hiking trails throughout the country.
